For two days I ate and ate...

....and lost weight!

Thats right - I gave myself a break over the weekend in the change over time from points to No Count, and basically ate whatever I wanted. Chose no count meals as practice, but snacked on what I wished - which ended up including a packet of smarties (raffle win from my children's pretend shop!), a lolly snake, and some popcorn, along with the better stuff like lo fat yoghurt, fruit, and a few nuts. I also drank about 2 litres of powerade -which under the points system is about 8 points - but I am determined to have some intensive hydration this week - regardless of the calorie cost.

So it was with trepidation that I stepped on the scales this morning - to be greeted with 62.7kgs (which would be a 1.1kg loss for the week). That's the lowest weight I've seen yet, and too low I reckon. So I stepped on again - and weighed at 63.0kgs - which is what I've recorded for this week. The 62.7 might have been a "flukey" weigh in, and I think it will make it too hard next week as I try and judge the impact of NoCount.

So this amounts to a loss of 0.8kgs which I am VERY happy about.

YAY!! not only is your body happy, but your scales are happy too!

no count is great like that, no more feeling hungry for us exercise fiends! :)

p.s, you are so tiny!! in the 62's!!! oh my goodness! thats almost to the 50's!!

hey, awesome stuff! Nearly into the 50's already!!!!?

You've given me the guts to try no count too! Day 2 and so far so good...tho I didn't weight myself b4 I started yesterday, but I'm feeling more in control just because I don't have all the temptations around.

Went for a run yesterday too - felt great. But I feel sore today - more so after body pump earlier this morning! :)
(I know it's gonna be bad tomorrow too!)

Gotta keep thinking about the muscle I'm building and how hot we'll all look with all this exercising and eating healthy...

Congratulations!
I think it just goes to show, as well, how what we consider to be "naughty" eating behaviour really does change..(like feeling naughty for a packet of smarties as opposed to a block of chocolate, i mean!)
